(1) Increase the tension (initial tension). During the operation of the belt conveyor, the belt will be stretched, causing the traction force to drop. Therefore, according to the situation, use the tensioning device to properly tighten the belt and increase the belt tension to improve the traction force.
(2) Increase the coefficient of friction. The specific measures are: protect the wood lining or rubber and other linings covered on the transmission drum to increase the friction coefficient, on the other hand, reduce the amount of water and coal to prevent the friction coefficient from decreasing.
